Where the needs of the service user are not as immediate the referral can progress along the usual route. The relevant persons from the referring authority can contact Golden Care and provide information about the service user and the accommodation needed. As soon as is practical a support plan meeting should be arranged between Golden Care Estates and the referring authority, the meeting will set out the level of support needed for the service user and assist Golden Care in developing a support plan that is tailored specifically to address the needs of the service user.
